GEOFFREY WILLIAM ALLMAN Passed away peacefully on 19th December 2008 aged 81 years.
Dearly loved Husband of Annie, Brother to Brian, Dad to Bob Rita and Geoff, Grandad to Helen, Danielle, Natasha and Francesca Great Grandad to Sophie, Chloe and Nathan, Father-in-law to Barbara and good mate of Lee.
Grandad would do anything for anybody, he was generous to a fault! Always doing for everybody and caring for gran for a long time while she has been unable to look after herself properly he has been by her side!!
I would take him and gran shopping to Morrisons and Icelands quite regularly which he loved coz he was a bargain hunter and loved the buy 1 get 1 free offers they have in there!!
He was a moaner, he would constantly moan about anything and everything, stuff that was in the news or just what tv programmes were on, Deal or no Deal would always be a fix in his eyes, which we always used to laugh at when my gran would say,"oh Bill, stop moaning!".
We spoke most days and he would always ask how me, my husband and kids were first before he would have some moan about something that had happened that day, and then would tell us how he didnt feel too good, i would give anything to hear his moans on the phone or hear him coming in to the living room at his house for a good old debate on what i thought about something that had happened that day in the news, we would sit there for ages talking!
I will miss him when i go cleaning as he was always moving from one room to another when i would go in as to get out of my way so i could clean!!
He wasnt just a grandad to me he was my dad also, he gave me away on my wedding day in May 2002 and i will always be grateful and proud of him doing that for me!! x
I will always remember how suddenly he got taken away from us (19th December) and our last moments together, all the family got to see him and tell him how much they loved him, he got to tell me that he loved us all, which was an amazing moment!!
There are so many people that will miss his presense!!
We all dont know what we are going to do without him, there is a massive part of us gone now! God bless you grandad, you are with great gran and grandad our Maxie boy and Bob!! Love and kisses and have plenty of trifle and bread up there coz you loved that!! xx

Just simply cannot believe that you were taken from us 2 years ago today!! My heart still aches the same today as the day you were taken away!! I still question why, but obviously god saw how amazing you were and wanted you for himself!!! I know that we will meet again one day but until that day I know that you are watching over me and the family and are proud of what you see!! It was a privealage and honour to have known such a special person!!! God bless and have an amazing time up there with all you other angel friend!! Love and miss you always and forever!!!! xxxx

Hi my gorgeous grandad!! I am so sorry it has been so long since I came to visit you!! I can't even begin to describe how much I love and miss you every single day~!!! Life just isn't the same here without you!! I think you know what has been going on with me at the moment because I can feel you here with me all the time!! But that's just you all over, wanting to protect me!! Things are tough but knowing you are here keeps me strong!! Cannot believe that you have been gone for almost 2 years now, time goes so quickly!! Gran is doing great but I know you know that as she says she feels you behind her in bed at night, which gives her great comfort!!!! Kids are great they are always talking about you and Nathan especially loves to visit you and put things near your rose bush!! I am sure you have enjoyed to chinese lanterns that we have been sending to you, they are so pretty!! Anyway love you and will come and see you again very soon!!! xxxx
